  Great facility and really easy for contactless reservations. We even had to transfer to a bigger unit after one day of loading stuff and really easy to do via phone calls

  Miguel, We are sorry to hear that you had this experience and responded to this same review that you gave us on Google 8 weeks ago. Unfortunately, theft can happen at any business, and we do our best to deter it at ours. We have a gate that requires an access code to get in, and everyone has their own individual code. We have cameras to see people come and go and we also have given access to the Durham PD to access those cameras 24 hours a day. I'm not sure who you spoke with in management, but if you would like to call the customer support center and ask to be put in touch with the property manager, they will be happy to assist you and/or give you any information that you may want or need. I am happy to report that with our video surveillance and the help of the Durham PD, we were able to catch the person that was breaking into the units. That person was able to gain access because they were a tenant of the facility. An arrest was made and anyone that put in a claim with their insurance company or with the indemnity waiver program that was found eligible for reimbursement for stolen or damaged items have been or are still being processed. We take the security of our facilities and tenants very seriously, however, even facilities that are not automated are victims of crime. We do hope that you will reconsider and decide to stay with us, however, we understand if you don't and thank you for your business. -10 Federal Management-

  Low effort security - not worth the low price

  DO NOT RENT HERE. My family and I rented a 10x15 storage unit here and were broken into TWICE in a 2 week period. When we installed a better lock after the first case of theft, the thieves simply DISMANTLED THE WALL in the adjacent vacant unit (all vacant units are unlocked here, the doors to the building are unlocked also), stole valuables and left the rest looking like a bomb went off. 20 years of family home items looted. Management was not helpful and suggested that WE buy a 2nd lock for the adjacent unit with the HOLE IN THE WALL as no one was able to help us that day, business hours had ended a few minutes earlier. They had no solutions to the WALL DISMANTLING problem (looks like you could remove the metal sheeting in 5 minutes with a regular wrench) and other unlocked security issues. When the police arrived to file our report they said this same style of robbery happened to three other units at this same facility, and the facilities 2 (TWO) cameras did not capture any helpful footage, even though these unmanned units are often targeted in Durham. We are moving our things out TODAY.
